This website was designed to reveal the life of Alfred Wegener, the German Doctor and Professor who theorized that the continents of our planet are constantly drifting. He proposed his continental drift theory at a meeting of The Geological Association in Frankfurt on January 6, 1912. He then paid the ultimate price trying to prove his beliefs when he died near the end of 1930 on an arctic expedition in severe -60 ° C (-76 ° F) temperatures.
